Contents of 2007 Japan Quiz

• Participants are required to sit for a written paper and attempt the quiz in the form of multiple-choice questions in English, within the given duration of 60 minutes.
• The questions cover a wide range of subjects related to Japan, including culture, general knowledge, current affairs, history, geography and so on.

Date, Time and Place of the Quiz

• Date: 25 November 2007 (Sunday)
• Time:

  10.30am:	Registration
  11.00am to 12.00pm:	Quiz

• Place: to be notified

Fees : FREE registration and participation

• no other costs involved

Prizes

• 10 attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners
• Top 3 winners will be awarded with:
  A 6-day tour to Japan in 2008 and the itinerary will include meeting Japanese leaders and various visiting programs

Eligibility

• All Singapore nationalities age between 17 and 40 (as of 25 Nov 2007)
• He / she has not resided in Japan for a continuous period of more than one year

Registration procedure

• Registration on-line only for the first 500 participants

• Successful applicants will be notified

Panel of judges

• The Panel of Judges is appointed by the Working Committee which comprises member representatives of the Organizers and Supporters
• The decision of the Panel is final

Notification of the Quiz results

• Quiz results will be displayed on the above websites. Only winners will be notified.
• The organizer is not obliged to disclose the scores of individuals

Award ceremony for the winners

• Tentatively scheduled for the evening of 13 December 2007 (Thursday)

Others

• The organizers reserve the right to amend or alter the above without notice
• Participant is to bring along his / her IC as a proof of identity before sitting for the quiz.
