Volunteer Programme for Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games
Please come and join us in our next JUGAS Talks on 6 March 2010 (Sat).
We are pleased to have our JUGAS member Mr Leong Mun Wai, CEO of Sunmax Capital Pte Ltd as the speaker.
Mr Leong Mun Wai, a graduate of Hitotsubashi University, will give a presentation titled “Successful investing – know market, know yourself”. One of Mr Leong’s life work is to come out with a formula for consistent investment performance to help himself and others to achieve financial independence at a relatively early age. Mr Leong believes that the capitalist system is capable of providing a good life to all willing human beings and the money that can be
made in the financial markets is not a privilege reserved for investment bankers and brokers. It is his hope that financial independence will lead to a better democratic society in the future.
This formula like in most human endeavours involves acquiring and analysing knowledge and information (know market) and applying it according to our own capabilities, attributes and preferences (know yourself). In Mr Leong’s words, “Although my formula is still incomplete, I would like to share with all of you my progress so far in arriving at that formula and what are the various “equations” and “variables” in it.”
