We are pleased to have Mr Kosuke Motani of DBJ Singapore Ltd and our JUGAS member Mr Davy Lau of Egon Zehnder International as our speakers.
Mr Kosuke Motani will give a presentation on "Silver Tsunami," or aging baby boomers in Japan and in Asia, and its Impact on Economy and Society.
Do you know why Japan's domestic demand had been floundering since long before the current financial crisis hit? Similar "tsunami" will also hit Asian countries including Singapore, China and India in the next one to five decades. In this talk, you will learn about the tips to survive, which are found among the best practices being created by struggling Japanese companies.
Our next speaker Mr Davy Lau will share with the audience some of his observations and learning on how to balance a successful career (or business) and good health. Specifically, he will explain how by first building a healthy and sound body and mind (by nurturing Qi) can help achieve success in life. Davy’s talk is titled “Building Health and Wealth in Turbulent Times - by nurturing Qi (pronounced as “Chi” in Chinese and “Ki” in Japanese)”. Some of you might also recall that Davy was featured in Lianhe Zaobao on 31 May 2009, when many of us were surprised to know for the first time that Davy has studied Martial Arts, Qigong(s), Oriental Medicine and Yang-Sheng methods around the world for 40 years and has a collection of 5000 videos and books on these subjects !
